I spent years working as a software engineer in the gambling industry, building the technology behind modern betting products — including in-play betting systems, interactive wagering platforms, and the software infrastructure that delivers live odds and markets to users during sporting events.
My role was on the engineering side. I built the systems and user experiences that consumed odds data, powered betting functionality, and helped deliver the fast-moving products people interact with every day.
Over time, I became increasingly interested in the other side: how ordinary bettors could use data and analytical thinking to make more informed decisions instead of relying on guesswork, hype, or emotion.
FavourIQ started as a personal matched betting and odds analysis tool. It worked well enough that I decided to make it public. FavourIQ is not a bookmaker. We don't accept bets or promise unrealistic profits.
Built by someone who helped engineer the systems — now focused on helping users understand them better.
